I am a hair product nut. I’m always on the lookout to try something new, something that will make my hair silky, shiny and full of body.

I found two out of three with Garnier Fructis Instant Melting Masque. I purchased the masque in the Strength and Repair line of Garnier products.

I had been noticing my hair was starting to look…frazzled. I knew it was time for a little Rx hair therapy, so I headed to my local drugstore to see what they had.

I finally decided on purchasing the Instant Melting Masque because 1) it was cheaper than other products and 2) it was something I could do in the shower. I didn’t have to wash my hair, towel dry it and sit around for 15 minutes with a shower cap and a heat treatment to get the masque to work.

I’m sure I’ve mentioned somewhere that I’m lazy.

I tried the masque this morning and I have to say I really like it. It melts instantly on your hair and you rinse it out immediately. No waiting three to five minutes. I could feel the difference at once as I was rinsing.

The smell is wonderful. It has a citrusy smell reminiscent of grapefruit.

My hair feels baby soft and it has a lot of body. I won’t say it’s as shiny as I would like, but maybe with continued use, it will get there.

Garnier recommends using the masque a few times a week.

My sister got me started on The Laughing Cow Cheese wedges. These things are absolutely awesome for snacks.

They are little wedges of swiss cheese with a cream cheese texture. Each wedge is 35 calories. They look small, but when combined with crackers (I’m partial to Wheat Thins), it makes a very satisfying snack. I have a pretty healthy appetite and it satisfies me. If you put some on celery sticks, it would be a delicious, healthy, low calorie snack.

There are several flavors to choose from. I’m hooked on the garlic and herb flavor myself. The flavors are subtle, not overpowering. But there is enough flavor there to give it a delicious taste.

It’s only 9:30 in the morning and my mouth is already watering for some.

Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about The Laughing Cow cheese wedges. I even love their “Have You Laughed Today?” commercials.

I’m telling you, you have to try this cheese. Go on…try it.

I recently decided to jump on the bandwagon and try the new mineral wear makeup. I started with Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Loose Powder.

It takes a lot to impress me with make-up. A lot of make-up companies make claims about their products that don’t really seem to measure up. But with Physicians Formula loose powder, I have to admit I was impressed.

It goes on light and doesn’t leave a heavy, cakey finish like a lot of powders do. I also liked the fact that it helped even out my skin tone. I have fair skin with red blotchy areas on my face. There is one spot in particular between my eyebrows that is hard to conceal. This make-up covered it up beautifully.

It is also worth noting that this particular powder by Physicians Formula was voted “Best Loose Powder” by People Style Watch.
